The directors of FELTG are all practicing attorneys in the area of federal employment law. Each has over 25 years of experience in the field, and all represent both employees and agencies in hearings and appeals before EEOC, MSPB, FLRA, OSC, and in arbitrations. They are the primary instructors for each of the seminars offered by FELTG and they are each the author of one or more text in this area of law. Mr. Broida has been widely recognized as an expert in federal employment law litigation practice for over 25 years. He maintains an active law practice in the Washington, DC area, where he is counsel and represents employees, unions, and federal agencies before the MSPB, the Federal Circuit, and EEOC. He is the author and publisher of the  annual texts, A Guide to Merit Systems Protection Board Law and Practice and A Guide to Federal Labor Relations Authority Law and Practice, among many other titles.  

 Mr. Hadley is a private practice attorney who specializes in the area of federal employment discrimination representation. He is the author of several texts in the field, including A Guide to Federal Sector Equal Employment Law and Practice and Representing Agencies and Complainants before the EEOC.

Mr. Gilbert is an attorney in private practice in the Washington, DC area, specializing in the area of discrimination law. He is a former Chief Administrative Judge with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the author of the very recent text, Compensatory Damages and Other Remedies in Federal Sector Employment Discrimination Cases

 

Mr. Fowler is an attorney in private practice who specializes in the area of federal employment law. He is a former Associate general Counsel with the General Services Administration and the author of the seminal text, MSPB Charges and Penalties

Mr. Wiley is a federal employment law attorney. He served in government as an agency representative, then as Chief of Staff to the General Counsel of the Federal Labor Relations Authority, and recently completed over 10 years of service as a Presidential appointee as the Chief Counsel to three members of the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board. He is the author of the e-training modules, How to Fire a Federal Employee and How to Defend a Federal Employee.

   Ms Laws has served as an administrative judge in the Los Angeles District Office of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, from 2001-2005, and had previously represented clients in the private practice of the Law Offices of Ernest C. Hadley, 1996-2001, in proceedings before the EEOC, MSPB and OWCP.  She is the author or coauthor of several titles, including the third edition of Federal Sector Workers' Compensation.


Each of the directors maintains a private law practice and is available for consultation and representation by both agencies and employees in the area of federal employment law.
