"Training by Professionals
for Professionals"
With limited funding available for training, organizations place a high value on quality instruction at an affordable price. FELTG’s clients avoid the expense and lost time involved when employees are sent to off-site courses by arranging for FELTG’s experienced attorney instructors to train at the client’s place of employment. Fees are based on our time involvement, rather than the number of attendees. The fee is fixed, whether there are 2 or 200 participants in the room. Per-head cost is controlled, and your training dollars can be used in the most efficient manner possible.
But perhaps best of all, with FELTG, clients can create their own course. No more time wasted sitting through three days of seminar to get one day’s worth of meaningful information. FELTG instructors will work with clients to modify one of our existing programs or to design from scratch a course with materials for specific client needs.
Small agencies also can benefit from FELTG’s onsite training. Through a unique initiative, FELTG staff will work with multiple agencies in an area to provide joint or intra-agency training at a common location or over broadcast facilities available to one of the participating agencies. This can be a massive savings for small agencies that must otherwise send employees to remote training courses or bring regional employees into headquarters for training. Some agencies have even partnered with their union counterparts to have FELTG instructors provide joint-training, thereby sharing the cost and getting both sides of the table on the same sheet of music.
FELTG instructors are recognized authorities and published authors, many with years of experience as agency counsel; as employee relations, labor relations, and equal employment opportunity officials; as line and senior managers within agencies themselves; and as administrative judges, both at the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
